Meet Piper…How Your Support Helped a Minnesota Family
Any hospital visit is tough for kids and their families, but when days turn into weeks and weeks stretch on for months, staying positive and finding moments of joy gets harder for families.
Like Andrew, Piper was born with a congenital heart defect. For 6 long months, Piper and her family lived at Children’s MN waiting for a donor heart. She underwent numerous procedures and surgeries, but ultimately lost her battle in January 2025.
The Bravery Box provided an incentive and motivation for Piper to go for walks after surgery, get out of her hospital room for exercise and a change of scenery, and helped her through some tough parts of her hospital stay while awaiting a donor heart.
We have recently begun working with an organization that distributes bulk quantities of toys to non-profit organizations at a fraction of retail cost. When you give a monetary gift, we are able to stretch those dollars even further than before! Your dollars can now bring more moments of joy to kids in the hospital!
Our FIRST PALLET!
We are so excited to deliver our first bulk order of toys to our partner hospitals and clinics!
Corporate Giving Funds and Grants have helped us grow and expand!
If you have a program at your workplace or dollars you are able to direct to a charitable organization, we would love you to consider Andrew’s Bravery Box. We are able to stretch every dollar to help bring so much joy to kids in the hospital.
We are also honored to receive the Kemps Giving Cow Foundation Grant for the 2nd year in a row. Without grants and charitable contributions, we can not keep our bravery boxes full! Thank you for your support however you’ve given in the past!
Three Easy ways to support us into 2026!
